BIG4 Harrington Holiday Park wins BIG4 Holiday Parks’ most improved award

Australia’s leading holiday parks have been recognised at the BIG4 Annual Award Ceremony on 15 October 2010, with BIG4 Harrington Holiday Park receiving this year’s ‘BIG4 Most Improved Award’.

Each year, the ‘BIG4 Most Improved Award’ is presented to the holiday park that best improves their offering to guests through upgraded or added facilities and accommodation options.

Owned by Merv and Alan King, BIG4 Harrington Holiday Park is located in the scenic Manning Valley in New South Wales. Managers Hannah and Martin McGill have recently installed some great new facilities for guests including a water playground, a fully equipped camp kitchen, large family bathroom and a guest lounge.

Alan, Hannah and Martin accepted the award in front of an international audience of more than 350 from Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada.

BIG4 Holiday Parks presents awards every year as part of its Annual Conference to recognise and celebrate Member Parks who continuously improve their offering to guests and set the benchmark for the Australian Holiday Park industry. BIG4 Holiday Parks’ state managers nominate Member Parks and staff for the awards, and a panel of judges including the CEO, state managers and external consultants then select the winners.
